This year, I really wanted to highlight more positive reviews than not because I want to talk about all the good stuff I’m reading. But this memoir has been all over the news and Internet so here’s a review.

You can probably skip Spare. I think we can all agree that the way Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their family have been treated is awful, vile, and gross. And I truly empathize with having to live life in a constant state of judgment and surveillance. But this account just didn’t do it. It was long, repetitive, and seemed without any life lessons being really learned.

I wish him and his family a lifetime of joy and peace but this is the first and likely last royal autobiography I’ll read. But I got to post my tiara again…🤷🏼‍♀️👸🏼
