Megs Review: The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue

From 1714 to present day, we follow are the only ones who know who Addie LaRue and her story as she made a deal to live forever but the price is no one remembers her. Perpetually 23, Addie never learns the lessons we all do as we grow up and get more responsibility. She has no need to, but she does need to figure out how to live when no one remembers her or how she got there. Until, after 300 or so years, she runs into someone who does remember. I did enjoy this book. A young woman figuring out how to survive in a drastically changing world all on her own (almost). It's an interesting evolution of a character whose emotional growth is stunted (I was still figuring out how to be a person at 23 and so is Addie, but she doesn't have the events happening to her to help her emotional maturity). I didn't fly through this book like I have with others, but I enjoyed every time I picked it up. If you see it, grab it if you can!
