This book will haunt me until my dying days. It was so tragically beautiful. It broke my heart and then stitched me back together. As a lifelong Harry Potter fan, I’ve somehow managed to avoid fanfics until this point. I fear the floodgates have been opened and nothing will ever compare to this.

Edit: I wrote this review immediately after finishing this book on 1/2. As predicted, the floodgates are indeed open and there is no end in site! I have since read 10 Dramoine fanfics and while they have all been delightful, Manacled has only compared to one other and they are tied for my favorite.
