We cried, we laughed, we celebrated, we drank wine. “Cackle” was a truly great read. It was expertly crafted and beautifully written!

One of our MC, Annie is starting over after a bad breakup. She left NYC for a teaching job upstate where she knows no one and things get interesting. She mets the fabulous Sophie- an older, wiser, mysterious woman in town, who takes Annie under her wing. Annie faces quite a bit when it comes to figuring out her place in the world, and Sophie is a wonderful mentor, even with a secret.

We loved the female empowerment woven throughout the book and of course, our king, Mr. Ralph. We cannot recommend this book enough, for anytime of year. And always remember: YOU ARE MAGIC 💖
